Pets in the Classroom

I have a fish in my classroom. 

Well, three fish actually. 

I didn’t think that having fish in the classroom would be such a fun topic for my two year olds, but I was totally wrong. 

I read them books with a fish in it and they’ll connect it with our classroom pets. 

We do a lesson on fish and they get so excited, so when I do anything with fish or water I always have us sit near the fish tank. This way it’ll help them and it helps me by keeping them on topic!
